Christine Amour-Levar is a French-Swiss-Filipina, Philanthropist, Record-Breaking Adventurer, Best-Selling Author and Human Rights & Sustainability Advisor. She began her global career with Nike, and later honed her skills as a sustainability and human rights advisor. She founded two impactful NGOs: Women on a Mission, promoting women & education and skills amidst adversity, and HER Planet Earth, emphasising climate resiliency for marginalised women through wildlife conservation, coral restoration and sustainable agriculture projects in Asia and Africa.
Christine co-founded Investors for Climate to harness capital for climate solutions via close-door events in Singapore and New York City. More recently she led a pivotal role as the head of Marketing & Communications at Temasek Trust, the philanthropic arm of Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s Sovereign Wealth Fund.
Christine is also a Board Member and Advisor to several purpose-led organisations in the Social Impact and Sustainability spaces, including Investible VC, Utopia Capital Management, the Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), Zero Waste SG and the Sulubaaï Environmental Foundation of the Philippines.
She published ‘Wild Wisdom – Life Lessons from Leading Teams to Some of the Most Inhospitable Places in the World’ with Penguin Random House in 2022 which received wide acclaim, and she has also contributed to international publications such as Forbes, the HuffPost, the Straits Times of Singapore, Thrive Global and the Manila Bulletin Newspaper of the Philippines.
Her speaking engagements on Leadership, DEI and Sustainable Development have been hosted by the United Nations, INSEAD, Nike, TBWA, Microsoft, Unilever, Google, Credit Suisse, TEDx and more. Being included on Tatler Asia’s Most Influential Impact List 2020, Christine has been recognised for her work via multiple international awards and honours, including the GGEF Woman Eco Gamechanger Award 2022, the United Women Singapore Gender Equality Impact Award 2020, the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World’ Award™, and she has been named one of the “Women of the Future Southeast Asia Leading Lights” by the Financial Times.
Christine speaks six languages, has lived on four continents and seven cities, travelled to over 75 countries from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and is currently based in Singapore, where she lives with her husband and four children.
