Alain Le Couédic is a Partner at AIQ. He leads AIQ’s AI enablement activities, infusing businesses with AI technology, insights, and expertise.
As an international professional, Alain has 25 years of experience in the management consulting industry, having started his career in New York with A.T. Kearney, then working in Asia as a Partner with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Roland Berger, based out of their Hong Kong offices. At BCG, Alain was heading the firm’s Organization practice for Greater China, and most recently, at Roland Berger, he was Co-Head of Asia for the firm’s Financial Services practice.
In his consulting career, Alain has served local and international clients on a wide array of management issues pertaining to strategy, performance improvement, operations, organization, and governance, and the use and impact of technology on companies’ overall development. He also regularly assisted private equity firms with conducting due diligence work on target companies and improving the operations of their portfolio companies. While being based in Hong Kong in the past two decades, he has worked for clients based in the United States, Europe, and a dozen countries in Asia.
In the past few years, Alain has been regularly publishing and speaking on China’s economic development and opportunities for foreign firms to enter and succeed in this market. He is an elected Council Member of the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and is serving as President of its China Committee. He is a member of the Advisory Board of SEII, a Nasdaq-listed company.
Alain holds a Master of Science (Ingénieur) degree from Agro ParisTech (member of the Paris-Saclay University, France) and an MBA from Columbia University (New York).
