Expert is the youngest member of the Order of Australia, named by Forbes as one of the World’s Top 50 Women In Tech 2018, Forbes 30 Under 30 2016, and 2012 Young Australian of the Year, is the founder and CEO of aubot. aubot’s telepresence robot, Teleport, is used every day for kids with cancer in the hospital to attend school, people with a disability to attend work and to monitor and socialise with elderly people. In 2018, aubot showcased a suite of robots that are modular, transportable and affordable. aubot also does research and development into robot arms.
